The Team Behind the SAP Architecture Center
We are the Office of the CTO, and we drive the development of and engagement around the SAP Architecture Center.
Our aim is to make community collaboration and innovation effortless, through a modern, GitHub-based platform for building, publishing, and governing SAP reference architectures.
Our team structure
The Architecture Center does not run as a traditional, fixed team. Instead, it relies on a dynamic network of contributors who work with us for a while, from inside SAP and from our partners. That is a deliberate choice, and it pays off in three ways:
- Flexibility: without the constraints of a rigid team, we adapt quickly as needs and priorities change.
- Creativity: an open contributor model brings in diverse perspectives and fresh ideas, which helps us build more impactful architectures.
- Collaboration: working with a broad community gives us a wide range of expertise and experience to draw on.
This open approach keeps the Architecture Center agile and always evolving, and it invites active participation and knowledge sharing across organizational boundaries.
The core team
These are the people who have been here from the very beginning. They have shaped everything from early framework exploration and proofs of concept to the architecture and governance that hold the site together.
